How to Vote
Election Day is just a few months away. Before you head to the polls this June, understand your ballot and make a voting plan that works for you. There are three methods of voting – absentee, early, and on Election Day. Read below to make a plan to vote that works for you.
ABSENTEE VOTING (VOTE BY MAIL)
You can request an absentee ballot now until June 15. Anyone can request to vote absentee – the application will direct you to check the box for "Temporary Illness", because this includes "a risk of contracting or spreading a disease" such as COVID-19. When returning your ballot, officials recommend putting on three stamps, just to be safe.
HOW TO VOTE EARLY
Go to your early vote site between the dates of June 12 –June 20 to cast your ballot in-person. District 19 voters have three early vote sites:
Korean Community Services, 203-05 32 Avenue, Bayside, NY 11361
The Boys' Club of New York, 133-01 41 Road, Flushing, NY 11355
Queensborough Community College, 222-05 56 Avenue, Queens, NY 11364
VOTING ON ELECTION DAY
Election Day is Tuesday June 22, and polls are open from 6AM – 9PM.
